I know that a lot of people refuse to watch The Office simply because they watched the British version and they enjoy saying things like, oh, I don't watch that show. It's not as good as the original. Whatever. I was reluctant at first too, and actually tried to avoid watching it, but unlike the American version of Coupling, which clearly lost something in translation, the Americanized Office is actually a really good show. If you give it a chance, you'll like it. Trust me.
